CAMEL Service Environment (CSE) provides design and run time support of custom call flows in an intelligent network for mobile operators. A protocol stack implementation of 3GPP Customized Mobile Enhanced Logic (CAMEL) (3GPP TS 29.078) forms the base of the execution environment.

Service Logic Programs (SLP)

The designers map the desired subscriber call flows into service logic programs (SLP). SigScale CSE provides the execution environment for SLP instances (SLPI) with integration of the full capabilities of CAMEL phase 4.

The CSE manages the lifecycle of SLPIs and implements the finite state machine handling of events in the CAMEL Basic Call State Machines (BCSM).

Transaction Capabilities

The CAMEL protocol is a user of the Transaction Capabilities Application Part (TCAP) of SS7. SigScale CSE utilizes our TCAP protocol stack application for a resilient, fully distributed, scale out solution.
